First, good luck on your GMAT test. Waiting for your story and debrief with a 7xx score :)

Second, I've never thought of it this way. Increasing the accuracy level of medium level questions. I think I need to re-arrange my GMAT studying strategies.

Thanks

I think what happened to me was that my odds of getting medium questions right was just the same as my odds of gettin hard questions right. My flaw in focusing too much time on hard questions during practice was that I may not get enough hard questions for that to matter if I was careless on medium questions. I am happy with a 47/48 math score....so being deadly accurate on all medium questions will get you there.

My advice:

Take a GMATPrep as late as you can without going past the test cancellation deadline. If you score 700+ allow yourself to take the exam. If you do not, then reschedule the test for a later date.

I'll definitely keep everyone updated.
Exam is May 26. I'm taking a GMAT prep exam May 6th. I held back taking a CAT exam for 1 1/2 months. It should be interesting to see if I've made any improvements. It gets a little annoying studying all the basics again, but it is well worth it. Understanding the basics when learning it is easy, but having it stick like rice takes some time. I don't have strong retention of material even though my level of comprehension is high. That explained why I have plateaued at a 610 earlier in the year. I was taking too many practice exams and there were too many holes in my game.

Like an ultimate fighter, I got to a 610 just from knowing how to use my high kick, jab, and wrestling. Not knowing how to sprawl and submit others were huge problems in my game. Those skills are basic skills that limit me, not necessarily difficult skills. Champions usually have all the basics down, some folks with lots of holes in their game do well with luck.
I don't have time for luck.
Excuse the analogy above.
