Any last thoughts?
First real effort was a few months ago...730 with Q48. Hoping for Q50 and will be pleased with 760. I only studied a bit for this retake (~20 hours over last two weeks), and know that there is plenty more I could do. Just want to get it over with though, so might as well take it. I see very little risk of scoring less on either Q or V, although it's possible on IR and essay (max score on both).
That said, I'm feeling insecure about the Q50, and regarding verbal, I'm just going to wing it again, but I would REALLY appreciate any last minute tips on that if you've taken the GMAT and scored over V45.

I'm a bit confused. You said you're gonna "wing it" in verbal but then ask for ways to score over a 45? I would say practice would get you there.. Are you taking it again for self-satisfaction? Not much of a difference, if any, between a 730 and even 780.

50 points? Even with diminishing returns, that's significant. 750 and I'm happy. My desire to retake it stemmed from the mentality of resoundingly offsetting any concerns about academics. Good point on verbal. If I had more time, I'd probably spend some of it on verbal, but I'm confident that I can score a 45 by winging it, but have no idea what special bits of wisdom can help yield a 46+.
