Hi ,
My gmat is in 2 weeks ( 31-Jul).
In my latest mock tests I am scoring 37-38 in verbal.
My latest Gmat prep score was 710 ( Q50, V37 ) 1 week back
I analysed my weak points in my latest mock test and they are as follows :
1. I always run out of time and randomly mark last 2 out of 4 RC in the tests with 41 questions. But otherwise I have seen that my RC accuracy is quite good. I can manage to get 85% rc correct if I dont mark an RC randomly and I take average 6 - 7 mins per passage
2. In CR, I loose concentration often and re read the questions many times.
3. In CR I do a lot of silly mistakes also for mis reading the question stem
4. For SC , I get confused for questions which has "other" type of error or meaning or idiom error. SV error, parallism , modifier , pronoun, all these concepts work fine for me
I want to get 40. Hence I want to improve my score by 2-3 points in 2 weeks.
Could you please suggest an efficient way ?
Thanks a lot in advance

Hi Kusumita,
You are doing well on your prep, 710 is nice score 2 weeks before your test. The best way to extract extra 2-3 points in verbal is to attack your weakness and make your strong areas more efficient. If you can answer answer RC well by taking a little extra time then do so, but this extra time, you have to extract from either SC or CR. So, try to finish off a couple of SC or RC questions quickly so that you have a little time to spare in RC. I did the same; I improved my efficiency in SC and tried to do most questions in 1:30 or 1 minutes. However, at any cost do not compromise your accuracy.. All the best..
Hope this helps,
... I will try to reduce my time in SC, as I feel I am best at SC.
