1st book can be selected in 10 ways
2nd book in 8 ways and
3rd book in 6 ways.
as the order does not matter it has to be divided by 3!
So 10×8×6/3!answer is 80

Each of the recent PS questions that you've posted has been written in a slightly 'awkward' fashion (and not in the 'style' that is used in typical GMAT questions). What is the source of these questions? There are so many sources for reputable GMAT practice questions that you really shouldn't be using any that come from questionable sources.
