My Interview Debrief The Interviewer was pretty warm and made me feel at ease throughout . She mentioned that the interview will only go on for 30 mins excluding any questions I might have for her. she also said that since already knows the common reasons why I would want to join tepper ,she wanted to get into the personality and behavior aspect : 1. A situation in my job where I had a conflict or someone was angry 2. ⁠A situation where your peer was unable to perform well and what you did 3. ⁠Why I want to do an MBA now ? 4. ⁠Why not some other university than Tepper? 5. ⁠What i will contribute to tepper in terms of collaboration 6. ⁠If I have any questions for her. Overall it will feel like just a normal conversation without any stress . Be prepared with behavioral questions around collaboration ,leadership , conflict resolution etc.

Interviewed with Jackie Otto (adcom), it was an extremely pleasant experience. The interview was very conversational, lots of back and forth, follow-ups on things I mentioned in my application or during my interview, etc. 1. Tell me about yourself, your journey from undergrad to current workplace, your background, etc. 2. Tell me about why M&A and entrepreneurship, expand on short term goals. (She read my applications (written and video essays) so this question was based off that). 3. CMU places a big importance on community, TMAT when you made a difference in your community as a leader, with a project, person, etc. 4. TMAT when you had to deal with difficult situations or conversations, how did they go? 5. Follow up from previous question about another project of mine she wanted me to talk about. 6. TMAT when you faced failure or a bad situation, what did you do? 7. You've grown a lot during your short career timeline, what resources did you use and were most helpful during this journey (like trainings, etc.)? 8. How have the different cultures you've experience affected your business view, how decisions are made, etc. (I moved around a lot growing up) 9. Tell me about your hobbies, what you do outside of work. 10. Any questions for me? Interview lasted 50 mins, had time for 1 question from me.

My interview was with Jackie Otto. She has read my application and was aware of my story. It was a very candid conversation. 1. I mentioned I want to work at Apple, and she asked if I am open to other companies and, in general, what my Plan B was. 2. Since my post-MBA goal was to work in Product management, she asked what skills I need to become one. 3. What resource do you use for research? 4. TMAT you resolved a conflict 5. Tell me about your greatest accomplishment 6. I mentioned I like to travel a lot, and she asked which culture impacted me the most. After every answer, she shared her perspective as well and kept the conversation flowing. She has a lot of cats, so sharing that you like cats or something might account for additional bonus points :)

I interviewed with Tony. It was not a blind interview. His demeanor was very friendly. Started by telling that interview would focus on my Professional experience & behavioural questions. Closed the interview with 3 questions from my End. Overall Interview was 40 mins ( 30 + 10 mins on my questions ). Overall a very positive experience
