Very conversation he prefers ro keep interview time 30-35 mins 1) introduction 2) short and long term career goals 3) tell me about a time you helped a team mate succeed 4) tell me about time you navigated situation that team mate don't agree with 5) tell me about a time you navigated ambiguity 6) how would you adjust yourself in global setting 7) anything for me?

I have my interview with Adcom Pretty chill, 45 mins Here are the questions -Intro -Why MBA -Why Tepper -TMAT you were in a situation where you needed to tweal your communication -TMAT You led a team -Industry specific questions, why change roles -Any q you have for me.

My interviewer was very friendly. He kept the interview conversational and was genuinely curious to know about me.

My interview is an adcom, she had already read my resume and was very informed of my video essay and essay, so it's isn't a blind interview. 1. Why do you want a career switch? (I had mentioned my goals postgrad in my video essay, slightly different from what I am doing rn) 2. TMAT you faced a conflict 3. TMAT you helped a teammate 4. TMAT international experience (cause she read my resume) 5. My interests and hobbies 6. What resources I used to learn sth? 7. Why Tepper 8. Any questions for me?

Had my interview yesterday, the interviewer has gone through the application materials—not only CV. The questions are pretty similar with the format: -Introduction, -Short & long-term goals (confirmation abt what I mentioned in the video essay), -Why MBA and Why now -TMAT leadership and what leadership means to you, -TMAT teamwork and what it means to you, -TMAT diversity and what it means to you, -What do you know abt CMU and what do you want to do here To those who put other schools in the application page, I suggest you to dig deeper on why Tepper and your study plan, aligned with your goals, to help offset the doubt of the yield

Had my interview for CMU yesterday. It was with an alum who graduated 10years ago. 1. TMAY 2. ⁠Why MBA 3. ⁠Why Tepper 4. ⁠What i understand by diversity and inclusion 5. ⁠TMAT where i juggled multiple projects 6. ⁠TMAT i used my strength to help someone without having a direct advantage or impact on me 7. ⁠TMAT leadership These are what i remember. It was conversational and he was very friendly.

I interviewed with Tony. It was not a blind interview. His demeanor was very friendly. Started by telling that interview would focus on my Professional experience & behavioural questions. Told me I can addany relevant points not discussed at the end. Questions: 1. Walk me through your background/Tell me about yourself 2. Why MBA? 3. Short Term & Long Term goals? 4. Why Tepper? Follow-up on this. What specifically I liked& hope to learn? 5. How Tepper will help achieve my goals? 6. What is Teamwork & what it means to me? 7. What is Diversity & Inclusion and what it means to me? 8. TMAT I faced challenge? 9. TMAT I had to convince colleague/Manager who disagreed? 10. Anything else I would like to add? Closed the interview with 3 questions from my End. Overall Interview was 40 mins ( 30 + 10 mins on my questions ). Overall a very positive experience

The interviewer was very nice and made the whole process comfortable. He started the interview with telling about himself and kept the format more conversational so there was not much pressure. The whole thing was about 35-40 mins. Very chill and conversational interview. Interview ended in about 20- 25 mins with 5-10 mins to ask questions to the interviewer Tell me about yourself. Why MBA now? Why Tepper? Short term and long term goals? Where are you planning to work after your MBA? How will you learn from your peers and how will you contribute to your community? How do you approach working with different people in the team?

Interview was extremely conversational. The adcom was attentive and taking notes and commenting on specific aspects of my answers. She made me feel extremely comfortable and honestly, I enjoyed the conversation. Following were my questions: 1. Tell me about yourself. 2. Why MBA? 3. Why MBA Now? 4. Why Tepper? 5. What do you hope to learn from Tepper? 6. What would you contribute to Tepper? 7. What kind of a role do you play in a team setting? 8. TMAT – Conflict/ you had to convince someone. 9. What drives you/motivates you? 10. What is the best bit of advice you have received till date? After these questions she spent some time answering specific questions that I had for her.

As others have mentioned, interview was not blind. Here were the questions I had: TMAY Why MBA? Why Tepper? DEI experience? Resources to stay up to date? TMAT when you worked in a team? TMAT challenging situation? What do you like to do for fun? Any questions for me? Not exactly that order but roughly that order. Good luck yall!

Like others have mentioned, interviews are not blind, and it was honestly a great, chill experience interviewing with the Admissions Committee. 1. TMAY/ Why Tepper? 2. When have you contributed to someone else's development, or your team's goals, by influencing others without formal authority? 3. They will ask about your short term career goal, and how you are prepared to recruit for those roles if given the opportunity 4. What does DEI mean to you/ how have you reinforced this philosophy in the workplace.

My interview was different from the other reports I've seen, perhaps because I come from a family business. I think all Tepper interviews are not blind and the admissions member has gone through the entire application beforehand. It was an alright experience, but get used to receiving 0 reactions throughout, they spend more time making notes and my interviewer simply asked the questions she had been given. Questions were fairly standard, but she did ask me about my role because I wear many hats in my family business.
