Maybe PR has improved, but unless we have many more opinions on the same, we would like the new club members to be directed by the assimilated learning. If PR has improved (and they needed that), it is a good omen - since a lot of new material is now available for practice. I would personally like to hear more posters with their experiences of Princeton 2004 material, although earlier posts have been quite critical of this new material.

Thanks guys,

that was definiately helpful. I'm doing exactly what has been suggested. Right now I'm working on Kaplan and by this week end I'll take PP2. After that its OG all the way.

About PR, yeah I too thought it was more similiar to PP than Kaplan (I've only taken 1 Kaplan test though). The negatives of using PR are:
a) their software was probably made by some bored high school kid who was probably paid 10 bucks for his worthless efforts. It is probably the worst software I've EVER used!!!!
b) the RC is terrible because they use the same ones for multiple tests. Hence if you keep taking PR tests you already know the answers to some of the questions. This in my experience has considerably skewed my score.

I had heard that PR 2003 was not at par with the actual GMAT, also that PR 2004 has improved significantly. No experience on PR 2003 .. so cannot compare/contrast. But as far as PR 2004 goes, I can venture to say that I found the material and tests to be good and closer to the real test. Although there are still a few bugs in the CD tests .. and a bunch of questions in verbal are repeated .. online tests were better than the CD ..

hope this helps.

I personally had a horrible exprience with Arco - after running it once, I would not even bother. PR has an online tester and I used the Online access for that - it was quite good interface-wise (well, it is a webpage :)) they also had a few questions split by difficulty and topics - I thought it was a wonderful idea.

Also, I found that Kaplan has a question bank - about 500 questions or so, but it is a bit pricy - $100.
