Just took the GMAT online a couple days ago. Received an email from testsecurity today that my test score is under review and will take upto 20 business days to be finalized.
When I called customer support, they said the score was on hold due to “leaving the testing area”
During the break between quant and verbal, I saw the break timer start. I said “hello? Anybody there?” to the proctor multiple times, but no response.
I got up to use the bathroom and came back soon after. Still no response from the proctor. I then clicked “resume test” and then the proctor paused the exam on the instruction screen. They made me show my whiteboard and testing area and then let me resume the test and everything proceeded normally.
I am very worried that they will cancel my score, which I got up from a 710 to a 740. The worst part is, none of this was my fault and I followed the rules to a T otherwise…
Anyone have a similar experience? This test should really by proctored better…
