Can Anyone help me in my GMAT exam test taking strategies.
I think I seriously lack test taking strategies , I started my GMAT journey in June 2021 from GMAT club and used
e-gmat extensively for verbal
I had taken GMAT thrice between August 2021 and May 2022 but it was seriously half hearted attempts (Burnt my money - Please If anyone is half hearted in their attempt don't do it, I learnt it the hard way) (Scores in earlier attempts Q-49,50,50 V26,28,32)
In Official mocks which have touched V40 and Q50 in verbal
In my 4th Attempt in July secured a 710 Q50 V37 IR8 (Got bored in 4th RC passage and skipped in costed me my RC score)
My Sub Sectional Verbal Scores are as follows for Verbal
CR-40
RC-35
SC-35
In My 5th Attempt in August secured a 700 Q49 V35 (Could have been an Easy Q50 Messed up this one because I ended up seeing a colleague of mine in mid exam and panicked thinking about what reasons I am going to cite as to why I was there
)
Sub Sectional Scores
CR-30
RC-41
SC-37
Can Anyone help with me my Strategy for GMAT Exam to reach 730+ score I just don't know when to skip a question - Sometimes I get lost in a question and lose my time in Verbal, Also I had taken my First GMAT on August 31st 2021 so when can I take my next attempt ?
P.S
I am very strong in Quant - Have always finished my Quant section 10-15 mins ahead of schedule without compromising on accuracy) . In My July attempt - I made just 3 mistakes as per my ESR .
In Verbal
e-gmat has been very useful no doubt - My weakness is SC and my strengths are RC and CR.
If I were to be genuine with my actual ability
SC I would put around 37
RC around 41 and CR around 40 , This is the kind of score I am expecting in verbal and I don't plan on giving up and want to try an extra attempt in GMAT (Hopefully the last)
