Shakib90
I got full scholarship from TCU (Neely) and I am all set
Initially George Washington offered me 50K and now they have increased to 70K
Can anyone tell me in terms of quality of business school and mba program and post mba roi which school is better off? Any insight will be helpful.
Hi
Shakib90Congrats on being admitted to both with $$$

George Washington little better branded school, especially outside of US.
Good thing is that they really want you since they increased the offer to 70k.
Neeley School of Business is unranked by US News US only MBA rankings versus
George Washington being tied on 59. place in very same rankings.
https://www.usnews.com/best-graduate-sc ... a-rankingsFor more info on story, apparently they lied about average GMAT score

they were placed on 71. place year before:
https://poetsandquants.com/2018/04/04/n ... a-ranking/For George Washington full-time tuition is: $102,000 and Required fees (full-time) $3,115 = $105,115. $105,115-70k=35,115
On the other side, Average base salary is $87,548, without signing bonus.
So working with that figures only, without singing bonus you will be in plus of 140k after two years, $87,548 x 2= 175,096-$35,115=139,981
After 5 years, without signing bonus, your gross income would be around 402k: 5x$87,548= 437,740 437,740- $35,115=402,625
https://www.usnews.com/best-graduate-sc ... sity-01043US News provides that average salary for Neeley is $93,093.

https://www.topmba.com/institution/neel ... l-time-mbaOn pay scale you will find very detailed MBA salary for George Washington depending on MBA concentration,
it actually ranges from $85,000-$133,881.

On same place, we can find info for Neeley too,

You can also find GW employment and career statistics data here:
https://business.gwu.edu/career-center/ ... statisticsMore on GW rankings:
U.S. News & World Report, 51st for Full-Time MBA Programs in 2017.
Financial Times, 47th in 2016 for US Business Schools.
The Economist 2016, 48th for US schools.
Poets and Quants 49th in 2016 for Top U.S. MBA Programs.
Business Week,"The Best Business Schools" 2016, 45th in the U.S., 39th in Salary Rank, 59th in Employer Survey, 24th in Job Placement.
There is trend that Neeley is climbing on ranking in recent years to be somewhere around GW.
In terms of salary they are approximately the same, also.
GW is better known and branded, does it worth 35k difference, probably not.
Living in Washington DC versus Fort Worth, Texas is better option regarding networking, but your preference in location may be different for various reasons (climate, cost of living etc. )
I would rather go to GW if money is not an issue, but I cannot advise you blindly to do the same since naked figures don't justify it.
Hope all this research and info helps you to decide !
Good luck and inform us of your final decision
