I just wanted to thank the many people on this site who took the time to answer all my Quant questions... I GREATLY appreciate it! I won't mention names, but you know who you are... and I appreciate the effort!!
I took the GMAT in February of this year and scored a 580 with a quant score of only 33!

I was extremely frustrated as I had not done any Quant work since High School (9 years ago), other than one stats class in University. On the other side of the coin my verbal score was always quite good.
Anyhow, I went to write the exam for a 2nd time yesterday (after spending 6 weeks on these boards) and studying almost every evening.... and scored a 650! It may not be a 690 like many of you are shootiong for, but I'm very pleased with a 650. My quant scored didn't improve as much as I wanted (I think it was only a 37 or 38).... but my verbal score really boosted things.
I wish all of you the best, and thanks again!
