Dear friends,

Just experienced that not so awesome moment when after giving your exam you cannot decide to be happy or sad that is if the score is good or not.
:o
710 (Quant 50, VA 35)

Suggestions welcomed... good wishes more than welcomed :)

Whats your background?
That GMAT score is near the median for top 4-10 schools.
So what really matters is if you are part of an over expressed group at MBA schools or not.
Also, was it your first GMAT?

Not sure what your target score but this is an awesome score. Anything 700 and ++ is above average for most of the schools. Congratulations and enjoy the moment!

I was looking for a score of around 720+. In both the mocks of GMAT prep I had achieved 710...

This was my first GMAT and I had achieved the same score in both the mocks of GMAT prep (Heights of consistency!)

I currently have an experience of two years in a non-IT field, extra curriculars are good, achieved a good undergraduate score from a NIT.

I think it is great. With top 10 being on average 720, you are right there. Unless for some reason the rest of your application is impeccable and perfect and you have 2 more months to waste on getting 770, I would not even think about it...
