IMO C.

'quirks' is plural so we need 'illustrate'. Options A and B are out.
Option C uses 'and' that need to be followed by 'illustrated' to match the verb tense of 'revealed', so C is out.
Out of C and E, E is incorrect because of 'who'.

MANHATTAN REVIEW OFFICIAL EXPLANATION:



This question has to do with subject/verb agreement. If you say ‘quirks that’ or ‘quirks which’ you have to say ‘illustrate’ (plural). Eliminate A and B. D is not parallel. It would have to be ‘illustrated’. ‘Who’ is inappropriate to use with ‘quirks’. ‘Who’ is applied to people, not to things. Choice C is the correct answer.
