On the graph, we need:
1) for the dogs' weights: everything to the right of 43 pounds (dogs that "weigh more than 43 pounds")

2) for the kcal/sec burned:
--everything above and not including 42 kcal/sec (the dogs that "burn . . . more than 42 kcal/sec")
--everything below and including 48 kcal/sec (dogs that "burn no more than 48 kcal/sec")

Not a lot of fun having to use a finger held up to the computer to mark off the thicker red lines, but . . .

The three thicker red lines outline the areas of intersection.
All points inside those lines are dogs that satisfy the conditions.

There are 9 dogs that satisfy the given conditions.
