The amounts of time that three executives worked on a special campaign are in the ratio of 1 to 2 to 5. If they worked an average (arithmetic mean) of 44 hours per person on the campaign, how many hours did the executive who worked the longest spend on the campaign?

A. 220
B. 132
C. 82.5
D. 75
E. 27.5
\(x + 2x + 5x = 44*3\)

Or, \(8x = 132\)

Thus, \(5x = \frac{132}{8}*5 = 82.50\), Answer must be (C)
