The area of a parallelogram is 100. What is the perimeter of [#permalink]

The area of a parallelogram is 100. What is the perimeter of the parallelogram?

1. The base of the parallelogram is 10
2. One of the angles of the parallelogram is 45 degrees

If one of the angles of parallelogram is 45 degree, then base and height will be the same, say x.

Then, x^2 = 100 or x = 10

Now if the base is 10 and height is also 10 then another side will be 10(root 2). and hence the perimeter.

I think C.

With 1) alone, you can change the angles and get different parallelograms with area 100. b=100 h=1 b=10 h=10
With 2) alone, you can change the base and height and have multiple parallelograms with area 100.

Wtih both statements, you can have only one type of parallelogram.

Whats the OA ?
