It can be solved, it is C, it is the hardest one on the CD-ROm.

Are you sure you typed this question in 100% accurately? I'm struggling to see how this question, as it is written, is not E. My logic is that I don't see anything that distinguishes the 10th-12th in any way. All we have is an average for those 3 days, and we know that those 3 days are included in the 19 days. Hence, even if we could solve down to get the average of the 10th-12th, we could make 10,11, and 12 any values we wanted to work to that average.
