Hi AlexProk,

We last discussed your studies last June - so before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, I'd like to know a bit more about how you have been studying over the last 10 months:

Studies:
1) What type of study routine have you been following? Did you take any "time off" from your studies? Over the last 3 months, how many hours have you typically studied each week?
2) What study materials have you used over the course of ALL of your studies? What “brands” of CATs/mocks have you used?
3) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Goals:
4) Is your overall goal score still 700 or something else?
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

Hi Rich,

Nice memory!) I stopped my preparation the last time once I got all the books and went through Manhattan prep books once. So, I renew studying 1 month ago and focused mostly on OG tasks by reading again Manhatten's books as an explanation before each topic.
I didn't try mocks, but I will go with official mocks once I am done with books.

The goal is the same and BS will be chosen based on the GMAT results. Specifically I have some interest applying to Haskayne business school in Calgary.

Hi. I would add or consider adding two other elements to your sentence corrections strategy/

1. Reading fiction books during downtime. Instead of browsing Instagram, I suggest getting a good interesting book and losing yourself in it for an hour or two each day. Check gmat fiction for some ideas. And this needs to be a book rather than articles from a biology magazine 😇 reading large amounts of text will help your brain collect the patterns in the train your ear.

2. We have GMAT Club ultimate grammar which is specifically written for international applicants consider downloading this free PDF book. https://gmatclub.com/grammar

Hi,

I seek advice on the best approach for studying SC for non-native speaker. Currently, I am going through OG and using SC Manhattan prep books 6th edition and Ninja Gmat tutoring videos on youtube.

Thank you, everyone!

Hi BB,

THank you for the advises. I have already downloaded the grammar book :) As to the reading I have a feeling that the only one thing that I am doing is reading :)

Hi AlexProk,

Since you have a specific School that you'd like to apply to, then you should be able to research that particular Program in more detail to determine what aspects of your overall profile you should be focused on improving. In that same way, you would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile and plans. Those Experts should be able to answer your Admissions questions and help define the specific areas of your profile that could use some improvement (and the more time that you have to act on that advice, the better).

There's a Forum full of those Experts here:

https://gmatclub.com/forum/ask-admissio ... tants-124/

I've sent you a PM with some additonal notes.

Hi Marty,

Thank you for the articles. I am thinking about signing up for TTP. Is it worth it?

2 of the Official Mocks are free. 4 require payment. Consider saving one or two of them in case you retake for any reason.
