If you just submitted your Round 2 applications, congratulations!
It can be tempting to think that the hard work is over - and much of it is! Between test prep, school selection, charming your recommenders, and carefully crafting the perfect essays to stand out in the pile, if anyone deserves a break, its YOU!
But if you're not actively preparing for interviews right now, you may be doing yourself a disservice.
MBA applications are down. When the application volume is lower, the average odds do go up – but the candidates who benefit from it are still only the strongest candidates. You have a unique opportunity to gain traction at higher ranked programs compared to years when the volume was higher.
So if you are one of those candidate and you get an interview invite, nail it! This might be your chance to get admitted to a more selective program.
Even if you consider yourself a stellar interviewee – prep, prep, prep!
And I just put the finishing touches of the most up-to-date MBA Interview Checklist, which is now all yours to have!
