The CEO of the company announced that he will be resigning next month, and that he would have accepted another job offer.

A) The CEO of the company announced that he will be resigning next month, and that he would have accepted another job offer.
B) The CEO of the company announced that he will resign next month, and that he had accepted another job offer.
C) The CEO of the company announces that he would resign next month, and that he had accepted another job offer.
D) The CEO of the company announced that he would resign next month, and that he had accepted another job offer.
E) The CEO of the company announces that he will be resigning next month, and that he had accepted another job offer.

Would is usually used for uncertain explanations. here will is appropriate to use and thus B is the correct answer

Hello karthik9866,

We hope this finds you well.

To answer your query, this distinction between "will" and "would" is merely a preference; it is better to use "would" only to refer to hypotheticals, but it is not incorrect to use it for certain situations.

We hope this helps.
All the best!
