A)Xamaleon awaits the patent for his creation, an exotic ice cream that changes color with variations in temperature, tastes similar to “tutti-frutti”
This is not even a complete sentence.

B)Xamaleon, an exotic ice cream that changes color with variations in temperature and tastes similar to “tutti-frutti”, awaits the patent for his creation
Hold!

C)Xamaleon, an exotic ice cream that changes color with variations in temperature, tasting similar to “tutti-frutti”, awaits the patent for his creation
The creator of Xamaleon <an exotic...temperature> tasting.

D)Xamaleon, an exotic ice cream, awaits the patent for his creation, changing color as the temperature varies and tasting similar to “tutti-frutti”
A comma verb-ing modifier tends to modify the entire preceding clause (The creator awaits the patent...). This doesn't make sense with the subject of the clause.

E)Xamaleon, an exotic ice cream changing color with variations in temperature and tastes similar to “tutti-frutti”, awaits the patent for his creation
Should be "tast[ing]".

A)Xamaleon awaits the patent for his creation, an exotic ice cream that changes color with variations in temperature, tastes similar to “tutti-frutti” - WRONG - modifier error an exotic ice-cream should refer to xamaleon and connector error tastes like tutti- frutti should be connected to that changes

B)Xamaleon, an exotic ice cream that changes color with variations in temperature and tastes similar to “tutti-frutti”, awaits the patent for his creation - CORRECT- Rectifies above errors

C)Xamaleon, an exotic ice cream that changes color with variations in temperature, tasting similar to “tutti-frutti”, awaits the patent for his creation - WRONG - tasting and an exotic ice-cream there is no connector between them

D)Xamaleon, an exotic ice cream, awaits the patent for his creation, changing color as the temperature varies and tasting similar to “tutti-frutti”- WRONG- modifier error

E)Xamaleon, an exotic ice cream changing color with variations in temperature and tastes similar to “tutti-frutti”, awaits the patent for his creation - WRONG- here tastes is a verb and has no sub
