Hi there guys,
I am looking for an opinion on the GMAT Simulator (practice test) by
The Economist and
GMAT Tutor.
Earlier today, I took a GMAT practice test at London Business School's website, in addition to practicing AWA on Measured Success and IR on
Magoosh. The school actually partners with The Economics to provide a full-test simulation of GMAT on the school's website, so I think that is really cool. Because I have not been studying a lot lately (it was Thanksgiving last week and I traveled really far away), I expected my score to take a dip. However, at the end of the test, I received the following results:
Your total GMAT score estimate is:
700-720Quant:
48-49 (
82%-88%)
Verbal:
39-41 (
88%-94%)
I was literally shocked because I have never scored a GMAT practice test this high! I have taken two GMAT practice tests previously and scored
660 in both tests. Moreover, I have never scored more than 35 in Verbal before, so scoring a 39 at Verbal is simply outrageous to me.
I would like to receive comments from those who have taken the test on London Business School's website or even from those who have taken GMAT Prep Course with The Economist. How accurate are their practice tests/simulation tests? How do your results compare to the real GMAT?
Also, in my case if scoring
660,
660, and then
700-720 using The Economist's simulation test, do you think it's just merely because of luck?
Looking forward to hearing back from you guys about this. Thank you so much!
Cheers!
