The expression (5x-2)/(x+3) is equivalent to which of the following? [#permalink]

Given asked to find the value of (5x-2)/(x+3)...

Now take X as 1 then we get 3/4...

From the options check which one gets the same 3/4.

From option D = 5 – (17)/(x+3) => 5 - (17)/(1+3) => 3/4.. All other options will result in some other value..

IMO D is the correct option...
