Hi Guys,
I have my date with Pearson VUE on Monday, 8th of May. I need some good advice from you guys so I can do all the right things these last few days. Here is where I stand as of today -
I took my first GMAT Prep test this afternoon and scored a 740. 46 in both sections. Quant was a nightmare, got several questions wrong. I bumped into 3-4 questions in verbal I had seen before, I think I had an advantage there. I will take my next GMAT Prep on Wednesday and let you guys know.
The 740 is a surprise to me. I have been scoring in the range of 640 - 690 in Princeton and Cambridge. However, scored a 740 in Power Prep (ETS) earlier in April. Fairly erratic performance, I must say.
My weak areas in quant are inequalities and coordinate geometry, would be great if you guys can direct me to some good resources so I can prep myself in these areas. I think my basics are weak here. I also tend to make a large number of silly mistakes specially around the 30th question onwards.
In verbal, I am ok with average SC but I get stuck with some unconventional usages. Anything where an idiom or an agreement or a modifier doesn't hit me, I get all confused. Am ok with CR, typically do not make any mistakes. In RC, my inference questions take a beating.
So there, ANY words of caution or advice would be great. I HAVE to fill this last week with as much power and punch as I can, so am all ears. Thanks for your attention, if you've reached till here
