\(F=\frac{9}{5}C + 32\)

If F = 85, then \(85=\frac{9}{5}C + 32\);

\(53=\frac{9}{5}C\);

\(C=53*\frac{5}{9} \approx 54*\frac{5}{9}=30\).

Answer: C.

Alternative approach, work around by plugging in the options as this question talks about approximate values

Use options (C) the middle value ( As the options are in ascending order )

\(F=\frac{9}{5}*C + 32\)

Or, \(30*\frac{9}{5} + 32 = 86\)

Thus, answer must be (C)
