Hi

Here the sentence tests the usage of the idiom not only..but also.

It is correct in the below 2 cases

1. Subject + verb + Not only + adjective/adverb/Noun/prepositional phrase + but also + adjective/adverb/Noun/prepositional.
2. Subject + not only + verb + but also + verb.

This particular sentence demands the usage of 1.

Only choice E states that.
