It is 2. I did it by picking numbers

F for 2 is 2 and G of F will be 2+3 and cube will be 5^3=125

d is the answer

g(f(x))=125

g(x^2/2)=125

(x^2/2+3)^3=125

x=2

[(x^2/2)+3]^3 = 125

solving x = +/- 2

+2 is in the answer choice..

Indeed it is not a well-founded question, because of x=-2.

Apart from that it is a neat question.
