1. Here we need to find the company with a strictly decreasing amount of greenhouse-gas emissions. From year 1 to year 2 companies B and C increase in emissions: 69.0 to 76.0 and 123.3 to 125.7. On the other hand, company A only decreases throughout the years: 65.0 to 64.9 to 61.8 to 59.8. So, our answer will be company A.
2. This dropdown asks us to calculate the total emissions of all three companies during year 3. In other words, the sum is needed, which is 61.8 + 74.0 + 128.0 = 263.8. This is closest to 264 million metric tons. So, our answer will be 264.
