The scale on the horizontal axis represents the number of hours of driving since an 8-hour break from driving. The scale on the vertical axis represents the percentage of crashes, out of total crashes, caused due to fatigue. The line graph represents the most accurate polynomial to quantify the percentage of crashes due to fatigue as a function of hours of driving. The upper rightmost label represents all hours above 12 combined.

On the basis of the information provided, select from each of the drop-down menus the best option.

The maximum increase in the percentage of crashes due to fatigue happens between hours of driving.

The percentage of crashes due to fatigue, estimated by the polynomial, is least accurate for the label representing of driving.

I think the Answer for 1st question is 9 and 11 hours of driving.

Between 9 and 11 hours of driving = (9 -3)/3 = 6/3 = 2 times

Between 10 and 11 hours of driving = (9-4)/4 = 5/4 = 1.25 times

pls check the official answer

Official Explanation

I. Between 10 hours and 11 hours, the percentage value increases from 4 to 9; that’s more than 100% increase and the highest of all the intervals.

Hence, 10 and 11 is the correct answer choice.

II. The label that lies most away from the curve represents 11 hours and approximately 9% of the accidents.

Hence, 11 hours is the correct answer choice.
