The intergalactic research station Vexon-9 has developed an advanced quantum AI, Oracle-7, which predicts catastrophic asteroid collisions with 99.999% accuracy. The Galactic Federation has adopted a policy of immediately deploying anti-asteroid laser cannons whenever Oracle-7 forecasts an impact.
