The Jahlberg Factory subdivided its workforce into teams and initiated a competition among the teams to increase work production. The graph above is a pie chart representing the percentages of total units produced by each team during the four-week competition. Team Ginseng's original team (Division A) was disbanded and re-formed with different workers (Division B) partway into the competition period, with no lapse in work.

Q1) The ratio of the percentage produced by the lowest-producing team to the percentage produced by the next-highest producing team was__________.
A1) Percentage produced by the lowest-producing team (Faylur) = 12%
and, Percentage produced by the next-highest producing team (Ruiz) = 14%
Hence, \(Ratio =\frac{ 12}{14}\) =>\( \frac{6}{7}\)
Hence Option B is the answer!
Q2) If Team Ginseng was re-formed 2.5 weeks into the competition, then Division B's rate of units produced per week was approximately___________of Division A's rate.
A2) As we need to finally find the answer in % only, let's assume the total units produced as 10,000.
So, Team Ginseng produced 25% of 10,000 = 2,500 units in 4 weeks.
And Div A produced (in 2.5 weeks) produced 42% of 2500 units = 1,050
While, Div B produced (in 1.5 weeks) produced 58% of 2500 units = 1,450
Rate of units per week for Div A =\( \frac{1175}{2.5} = 420\)
While, Rate of units per week for Div B = \( \frac{1325}{1.5} = 966.67\)
Here, we observe that Div B's rate is more than double the rate of Div A. Answer should be Option E.
