The last five US Open Men's Single Champion have all changed to Proline's new tennis rackets - the only racket that uses genuine H-Ion strengthened frames. In that case, isnt now the time to add power to your tennis strokes and to trade in your old racket for a Proline?
Which of the following claims is not made and cannot be inferred from the above AD?
A. Frames strengthened by H-Ion are used only in Proline's new racket
B. H-Ion strengthened frames make tennis rackets stronger and allow players to make powerful strokes
C. Former US Open champions know a great deal about Tennis
D. Proline tennis racket helped the last five US Open Men's single champion achieve their status
E. You will improve your tennis with Proline
Please explain your answers if possible.
OA will follow.

D. The claim the Proline tennis racket helped the last five US Open Men's single champions achieve their status is far-fetched. There is no valid information that would allow to make such an inference.
I concur (D) should be the answer. (Because "The last five US Open Men's Single Champion have all changed to Proline's new tennis rackets", this statement states they changed at some point of time, either the time when they were playing or after they became champion, so we cannot infer that these champions achieved their status using the said rackets).
couldn't we argue that may be that Former US Open champions may be didn't know a great deal about Tennis, because the rackets were so exceptional they could win the championship with out knowing a great deal about the game???

I had selected C as well.
C and D are both not claimed in the passage.
But I guess D is a stronger claim (based on mba's explanation)
and "Former US Open champions know a great deal about Tennis" might be an assumption in the passage?
