thanks for gathering the intelligence michiavelli. i'm assuming that means late evening GMT. i looked through last year's thread - it looks to me like there were applicants that received admit emails around 7pm EST (which would mean midnight GMT). can anyone from past rounds/years attest to this?
Round 1ers got the acceptance emails sometime between 2-3pm EST, IIRC.
On the difficulty of R3 apps, from what I heard from AdCom, yes, it is as hard as US schools, but they follow that up by saying that they look kindly upon reapps...
after hours of experimentation, testing and retesting, I have therefore concluded - with a fair degree of certainty - that the clicking of one's email refresh button, even in different combinations, will not make the email from LBS come any sooner. good luck everyone.
Actually, I noticed that as long as I have my email open, almost no emails come, period. But if I close it down, and, better yet, walk away from my desk for even 10 minutes - bam, at least two or three!
