this question is confusing :
does 7600 ticket sale exceed 80,000$ ?
Now option 1:
net proceeds exceed $40,000 on 4000 tickets sale. now we can conclude if each ticket was equally priced or not. So it should not be sufficient to.

Now option 2:
net proceeds exceed 100000 on 7000 ticket sold hope that $ is a mistype. So it is already exceeded 80000 in 7000 so it will for sure exceed it . Hence it should be sufficient. Option B

Bunuel
The net proceeds increase as the number of tickets sold increases. Did the net proceeds exceed $80,000 on 7,600 tickets sold?

(1) The net proceeds exceeded $40,000 on 4,000 tickets sold.
(2) The net proceeds exceeded $100,000 on $7,000 tickets sold.
