'insight about' is wrong idiom. 'insight into' is the accepted version ; insight into the man is not clearly defining what aspect of
the man is being insighted into. 'Insight into the character' is more forthright. We have to use the definite article 'the 'rather the indefinite 'a", since the person has already been discussed. I am surprised that OG has started asking such exclusive idiom questions again? Curious to know which version of the OG contains this question and what is the OE offered.
