This one has to play with parallel structures + pronoun

(A) but also it is more user-friendly, and it offers greater flexibility.
>> parallel but “it” refers to “the new software” and is the subject of every verb => can be removed

(B) but also is more user-friendly, and offers greater flexibility.
>> here! “it” is removed! Better than A. so keep B.

(C) but also it is more user-friendly, and offers greater flexibility.
>> “it” is in 1st clause but not in 2nd => not parallelized

(D) but also being more user-friendly, and offering greater flexibility.
>> clearly wrong answer: Verb ing can’t be used in these clauses. They require real verbs

(E) but also it is more user-friendly, and it offers greater flexibility.
>> same as A.

Therefore, B is the best answer!
