First of all, list down the preferences on your scratch pad:

C - 3rd, Lowest rent
G - Outdoor + basement
L - 1st, 2 or 3 amenities

1. Suppose that Gabriel wants an apartment that includes in its rental the use of a parking space and also satisfies his other preferences expressed on the Preferences tab. Based on the information given, for each of the following apartments select Yes if it would fulfill these requirements. Otherwise, select No.

Go to tab 3. G wants outdoor + basement and now he wants parking too. Only apartment 6 is in the overlap of all three regions.
ANSWER: 3 - NO, 6 - YES, 8 - NO

2. Assume that Chloe can rent any of the ten apartments. Based on the information provided, for each of the following amenities, select Yes if the apartment she should rent—based on her preferences as expressed in the Preferences tab—includes in its rental the use of that amenity. Otherwise, select No.

C - 3rd, Lowest rent
Go to tab1. 3rd floor lowest rent is number 10. Now go to tab 3. Amenities in 10 are outdoor only.

KarishmaB Ma'am, for Question 2, if it is specifically mentioned in the Preference tab that Chloe wants an apartment on the 3rd floor, what is the implication of the question stating that "assume Chloe can rent any of the ten apartments" I thought the 3rd floor restriction was to be done away with and only focused on the apartments with the lowest rents on each floor (2, 4, 10) and chose options accordingly. Could you please highlight where am i going wrong with my understanding, thanks.

Question Stem: Assume that Chloe can rent any of the ten apartments.

It means that all apartments are available to her. She will get whatever she prefers.

Based on the information provided, for each of the following amenities, select Yes if the apartment she should rent—based on her preferences as expressed in the Preferences tab—includes in its rental the use of that amenity.

Apartment she should rent based on her preferences .. Clearly tells us that we MUST consider the preferences given by her - 3 floor lowest rent. We are given that the lowest rent apartment is also available to her (since all are available)
Otherwise, there is anyway no way for us to answer this question. Different apartments have different facilities.
