The newly developed diagnostic method leaves the liver tissue not only transparent, but it is also still available for biochemical tests.

ans - wrong usage of 'not only...but also' ---not only transparent, but it is also
correct usage is
-Not only x, but also Y
-X, but also Y

A. but it is also still available - eliminated due to usage error of 'not only X but also Y'
B. but also leaves it available - redundancy due to repeat use of 'leaves' - eliminated
C. but still with availability - eliminated due to usage error of 'not only X but also Y'
D. but also available - correct usage
E. but also is available - 'is' messes with the parallelism of the sentence
