Here need to derive least absolute value. I.e. smallest possible distance from zero.

(A) t+v = ~ -14 + -8 = -22
(B) t+w = ~ -14 + -1 = -15
(C) t+x = ~ -14 + 3. = -11
(D) t+z = ~ -14 + 14 = 0
(E) w+x = ~ -1 + 3 = 2

So, I guess correct ans is option (D).

Please correct me if I'm worng.
I did the same but shouldn't the final answer be in absolute value so at the end we will get all positive?

Exactly. The absolute values of A, B, C, and E are 22, 15, 11, and 2, respectively. However, the absolute value of D is 0, since |0| = 0. Thus, D has the least absolute value.
