I am planning to take GMAT in oct. I was planning to buy OG13 Bundle +Kaplan GMAT Premier 2015+MGMAT Set, 5th Edition for my study plan. Now I may have to wait and buy OG14 instead of OG13. Confusion is - MGMAT 5th edition goes with OG13 and there is no plan for new MGMAT edition to come out which can go with OG14. So here is the dilemma? Can I used MGMAT 5th ed with OG14

.

Hi there,

I would guess that you will be not able to use the MGMAT 5th ed with OG14. If you'd like to know for sure, you might want to post in their designated forum here on GMAT Club -- that way, they will be sure to see your question. Why not just buy OG13 and use it with the MGMAT 5th ed. guide? I'm sure the information will still be quite useful.

Regards,

Elizabeth

Thanks Elizabeth for your advise. I am expecting OG14 to have considerable changes over OG13 (or else it won't be out so soon). I can give myself a jump start with OG13+MGMAT 5th ed. but ultimately I will have to go through OG14 before the test. So need to spend twice (at least over the OG's).

I am not sure when someone says "MGMAT 5th ed goes along with OG13" - what does that actually mean? Do they refer back and forth or is it just the chapter mapping which can be easily derived for MGMAT 5th ed with OG14 as well.

Thanks for your advise to post the question to MGMAT forum at gmatclub. will do that.

The manhattan gmat books in each chapter lists the relevant practice question in the official guide and review books as extra homework. The 5th ed manhattan gmat books will reference the 13th ed official guide questions. Although manhattan usually comes out with an analysis of new version of the official guide in terms of analyzing what are the new questions from 13th to 14th, it will not provide a new cooresponding list of relevant questions for each of their chapters until a new edition of the book comes out. Best bet if you have the 5th edition mgmat books and want to know the cooresponding 13th ed question is to just buy the 13th ed since that is what the book refers to as extra homework problems.

The questions in the OG 13 and OG 14 are identical (I just got a copy today) so you are safe buying the new OG 14 and using it with the MGMAT 5th edition Guides.

Hi BB,
I saw your review on Amazon. I have posted comments there and re-asking again here.

I am about to kick off my GMAT preparation.
This set is very much same as previous one but I don't have them, so it worth going for this one, rt?
And any idea of Kindle edition, how they really stack against a printed book, is it worth waiting for that?
And when I buy this from Amazon, I get some code/coupon for online quiz?
