okay, this is probably a question i should know the answer to, but where could i buy the OG? and as far as i can tell, it looks very expensive (90 euros?) is that right?

I think its best to buy used from Amazon uk. a quick search shows the following results.

Please make sure to get the 10th edition. Another option is to buy the paper tests available on GMAC's website.

where in EUropa are you? try ebay.co.uk or ebay.de
and yes make sure u get the 10th edition. its the latest and the best. good luck

I bought OG long time ago but it seemed much less expensive than that. Perhaps 50CAD or so which would be like 30Euro

Why only the 10th version? What year was the 10th published in?

10th version is the newest OG to date. It is certainly the best GMAT book in existence; it is the GMAT Bible. Do not write the test without going thoroughly through this book.

I found it at 89,95 euros :arh and seems quite expensive (I know that we all have to invest for our MBA but...) and I think that like Chantal I will study with the 9th edition.

and if I really want the 10th edition, let's try Ebay

I checked my version, it is the 10th (yay). I'm going through it right now but I didn't realize it's that good. I was even planning to skip some sections...guess not. Thanks lots Paul!!

Any advice on the best way to benefit from the book?

just buy it used on amazon. I got mine for $25 or $30 US and its in great shape
