If y = 1, then the \(x\text{@}y = 2x \)
In all of the operations to be performed, we have y = 1. So we can just work with \(x\text{@}y = 2x \)
1st op = 2a
2nd op = 2(2a) = 4a
3rd op = 2(4a) = 8a
4th op = 2(8a) = 16a
Bunuel
The operation is defined as all nonzero x and y by \(x\text{@}y = xy + \frac{x}{y}\). What is the value of \((((a\text{@}1)\text{@}1)\text{@}1)\text{@}1\) ?

(A) 2a
(B) 4a
(C) 8a
(D) 16a
(E) 32a
