All,
I am filling out the other questions that normally get asked on an MBA application.
eg Why did you leave this job.
Who have you consulted about studying at the school? How did they respond? etc
These sections do not have a word limit on this particular application. The application also has 6 essays. So obviously I do not want to write more essays, just like they don't want to read them.
How many words do people devote to such fields? 100 a good number?

I kept my responses as short and clear as possible.
I think my comments about researching the school was 3 or 4 lines.
My job descriptions were two lines.
My reason for leaving a job was one line.
Note, I didn't skimp on these sections. I put enough detail into each so that the point I wanted to get across was clear. However, I didn't see a need to write a certain number of words.
