I got confused that logically why the diameter of two tires of a same vehicle would be different but then thought it is possible.

Now, coming back to question, we know Perimeter R = 7/8 Perimeter T.

Statement 1 gives us diameter of tire R using which we can find the diameter of tire T with above given relation. Sufficient.

Statement 2 gives us directly the radius of tire T so we can find the area. Sufficient.

Option D is correct.
