2(l+b) = perimter

2(10/x + 8 x) =18
2 x 18 = 18 x X
X= 2

so l and b are 5 and 4

area = l*b = 20

Perimeter of rectangle= 2(L+B)= 18

= 2(\(\frac{8}{x}\)+\(\frac{10}{x}\))= 18

= 2(\(\frac{8+10}{x}\))= 18

= 2(\(\frac{18}{x}\)) =18

x=2

Length= \(\frac{10}{2}\)= 5

Breadth= \(\frac{8}{2}\)= 4

Area= 5*4= 20

\(Answer: C.\)
