Is line segment AB > line segment BC? That is, is x > z?
x and z are obtuse

Statement 1:
x > y
x > 180 - z
But, this does not give us any information on whether x > z (for example: x and z can be 110, 130 or 130, 110)
Statement is insufficient

Statement 2:
z > x
So, line segment BC > line segment AB
Statement is sufficient.

Therefore, answer is B.
