Here are the ans from my end 1. C 2. B 3. B 4. C 5. B 6. C 7. C 8. B Can you please confirm the ans Explanation 1. considering x as non-zero the equation will reduce to 1/x+3 +1/x+4 = 1/x+2 +1/x+5 or 1/x+3 - 1/x+2 =1/x+5 -1/x+4 solving x=-7/2
2. sum of the roots =-b =8-3 or 5 product of the root =7*8=56
3.sum of the root=product of the root i.e b=c
4. sum of the root k/8= -(a+a^2)...where a is the root product of the root =1/a^3=1/8 or a=1/2
5. used the options to find the ans
6. if a and b are the roots then ab=p/p=1
7.if a,b are the roots then a+b=-3/2 and ab=-1 we need to find the equation x^2 +(a+b/ab)x+1/ab=0
8.if roots are r1,r2 r1+r2=-r/p and r1r2=r/p
the first one took more than 2 minutes for me.better approach will be really appreciated.
