A. It is redundant to use 'reason' and 'because'. Incorrect

B. Once again, the use of 'reason' and 'because' is redundant. This choice also does not make sense. Incorrect

C. Corrects the initial redundancy and makes sense. Correct

D. Sentence does not make sense as there is an 'is' missing between 'play' and 'that'. Incorrect

E. This choice is also redundant and very wordy. Incorrect

My answer is (C). It took me 25 seconds.

(A) It it redundant to say that "the reason .... is because ...". Use "the reason ... is that ..." instead.
(B) See (A)
(D) Not a sentence.
(E) See (A)

Reason and because in the same sentence is redundant. Eliminate A, B, and E.
Between C and D
D is missing a verb which makes the whole sentence fragment without the subject-verb pair.

Answer is C

Correct Option C

The reason children play is because they enjoy learning about the world around them.
Eliminate A, B, and E for Redudancy - The Reason vs Becasue - same similar meaning.

A. The reason children play is because they enjoy learning about the world around them
B. The reason children play is because to learn about the world around them, they must enjoy
E. The reason children play is because they find joy in learning about the world around them

Option D has Subject verb agreement error, Subject has no verb follow to - hence eliminated
D. The reason children play that they enjoy learning about the world around them

Correct Option
C. The reason children play is that they enjoy learning about the world around them

Hence C is the right answer choice
