A tricky one
The notable differences are:
1. That they vs because
2. which they call vs that they call
3. they consider vs considered by them
For #2, Which they call is correct as which modifies the world just before it., 'modern society' .. Eliminate C
For #3, 'they consider' is preferred to 'considered by them' due to active voice.. Eliminate D and also E
For #1, 'Because' is preferred to 'that' here. this is a tricky one and the reason for preference is the subordinate clause answers the question of 'Why' which is generally the function of 'Because'
