HI all,
I have a question on a SC I found in Manhattan gmat; I actually do not even understand the sentence itself and especially the construction "the most timid and shy of women". Hopefully the question in not on that part as it would have been even worse. Could you tell me if this previous construction is frequent ? I would have say t"this mot timid and shy woman". Is it the same ?
After this answer, I would have been interested in having a discussion concerning the answer of this problem !
regards

Hi Lapetiteflo, Timid and shy are adjectives pointing to one particular woman out of women. Such construction is not very common, but one of the best way to convey the idea.

I do not see any problem in the option A.

First of all let me say a couple of things:

- the sentence is NOT underlined

- the title of the question is inappropriate
