The saddest thing about the editor's rant against multiculturalism in the special issue 'Race on Campus' is how little of this 'new orthodoxy' actually exists. Believe me, Aristotle, Augustine, Milton, Shakespeare, Cervantes, and Hegel are alive and well in the academy. In fact, the juicy attacks by the multiculturalists have probably gotten more students to read these books than any dry appeal to the 'best that has been said or thought.' There is nothing like a charge of intellectual obscenity to pack the house.
Base on this passage, which of the following is a position of the editor who ranted against multiculturalism ?
A Little of the new orthodoxy of multiculturalism exists.
B Aristotle, Augustine, and Milton are alive and well in the academy.
C A charge of intellectual obsecenity will pack the house.
D Juicy attacks by the multiculturalists have gotten students to read books.
E There is a new orthodoxy of multiculturalism.

E seems to be the most appropriate choice. We are expected to find the editor's position. Choices A, B, C and D echo the author's arguments, and not that of the editor.
